If you prefer a day trip, drive down the coast to the world famous “Nazare beach” home to some of the biggest waves in the world! The Big Waves season in Nazare- Portugal, is between October and March (Winter season in Portugal, but September and April also work in some years). Though the Summer isn’t the season for the big waves, you can still surf or watch surfers catching some nice waves or just relax on the wide sandy beaches.
